I think he will beat Maidana if they meet again but i hope this isn't a case of ''oh he's **** i don't need to face him i know in my heart i'm better then him'' because Maidana for all his limitations is still is viable and worth while fight in his career.

Victor seems a decent kid but is prone to blurting out garbage. He's not exactly the only boxer who falls into that category though.

also in the same interview he said maidana basically fought his shadow.

and also he will end berto's career if they have a rematch

i sorta like the new vic but the comment about maidana is just stupid.

  8. before the berto fight , i thought if ortiz maidana happens again the result would be much the same as before , after watching the berto fight im not so sure , if ortiz sticks to his gameplan and keeps his defense tight i think he will win , however ortiz is a little chinny and maidana is very relentless , if maidana catches him with a good shot and keeps the pressure on without wasting to much energy i think its his fight for the taking.
but the coment ortiz makes is stupid to call the only man to stop him a c class fighter a man who gave khan fits , i think ortiz cant figure out who he is and has some personality issues , sometimes hes mr nice guy and all smiles , and other times he comes out with ridiculous **** like maidana shouldnt be mentioned with his name , and most of all the post fight interview with lampley when he said he doesnt deserve to take the sort of punishment what the hell is that coming from a boxer

  9. me also but i dont give rios a chance in hell anymore ortiz was so focused against berto theres no way rios whos not a huge lightweight moves to 147 and handles ortiz who will outweigh him significantly and is also better in every other aspect other than maybe rios has a better chin

the weight actually wont be that different, Rios came in 155lb against acosta and ortiz 161 against berto so 6lbs really.

  11. yeh good point for me ortiz is much stronger so much so i actually think he will bully rios about the ring

Gung ho Rios was buckling in round 4 against Acosta. I'm thinking Victor would splat him bad if they fought.

It's all well and good saying that buy doesn't change the fact Maidana messed him up.
