Victor Ortiz vs Amir Khan 2010 or 2011 - MGM Grand Las vegas

Amir will duck him. If Amir wins and Ortiz becomes his mandatory look for him to vacate ASAP

 

I've heard but it never really was more than a rumor that Ortiz has chin issues too. Well, he'll be tested vs. Maidana.

Ortiz should be favored at this point vs. Khan, and Amir will lack chin during his entire career, he can do nothing about it. But Khan has just as much talent and potential, if not more.

 

I don't buy the Ortiz hype. Not overly impressed by anything he does other than the explosive knockout power. I think Khan can outbox him. Khan already beat him in the ams, not only beat him, he stopped him.

i think if khan beats kotelnik, and witter beats alexander i think well see khan-witter unification bout towards the end of the year, and if hatton decides to come back, he can have a come back fight around the same time, then it will be khan-hatton in spring 2010, then if he gets past that, and ortiz has done well then maybe summer 2010.

I think it depends on how khans defense progresses, khan is the more skillful, but prtiz will have the power to take him out at any point, will be an interesting fight if it happens.

 

I imagine Khan and Ortiz spar all the time. B/C Victor is known to spend alot of time at the wild card gym and because Victor spars Pac alot so he probabl also spars Khan.

I think because of Khans chin I would favor Ortiz. I would expect Khan to be beating the **** out of him for the first 4-5 rounds but eventually Ortiz would catch up to him.

Hopefully Roach can improves Khans chin, if he can do that Khan has all time great potential.

 

I like both fighters but i think ortiz has improved a lot and could win this one convincingly!

well it was said Jack dempsey use to chew on i think timber bark to improve his chin. so maybe there is a way
