Victor Ortiz vs Floyd Mayweather

Would love to see it.

 

Dangerous fight for Ortiz man he'd get beat , probably dominated .Big payday but he's probably better to build his career first .Mayweather would punish him .

 

He's not going to fight Ortiz, and he sure as hell won't fight Pacquiao.

As for paying the fees

 

Mayweather would stop Ortiz!! I like Ortiz and he showed on Saturday that he is willing to go through the pain barrier to get what he wants, he has obviously matured a little more, however, this would not be enough against the special skills Mayweather posses, Ortiz makes too many mistakes and Mayweather would make him pay for every single one! I can see this fight being made I really can..

 

Good fight, as long as it's not a 'warm-up' for another long hiatus.

Floyd TKO in about 9 rounds, he won't miss with that right hand all night, and Ortiz throws a lot but isn't going to get much past Floyds judging of distance/defensive reflexes.

But it's a good fight for Floyd if he's gonna' fight again within the next six months.

If he ain't, I'd prefer to see Pac fight Ortiz after he decimates JMM in their 3rd fight.

 

I'd be happy just to see Mayweather back in the ring to be honest. Ortiz would, however, be more than an adequate "comeback" fight.

 

Wasn't JMM the warm up/ comeback fight when Mayweather ended up fighting Mosely? Who is Ortiz the warm up for, Kell Brook?

It'd be a good fight as long as he fights Pacquiao after. Good fight, but not very competitive. Ortiz always leaves himself wide open when throwing and often admires his work after throwing at range, whether he lands or not, Mayweather would make him pay on both counts. UD or late TKO.

No, of course I'm not. I was jokingly (well I thought so!!) making the point that Mayweathers "warm up" opponents don't lead where we'd like them to (Pac) and if the bloke stayed active he wouldn't need "comeback" fights in the first place.
