According to Amir Khan, this could be on his undercard on december 11th

John and his younger brother Joe both won tonight. John retained his european lightweight belt with a slugged out TKO.

If he does fight Ortiz, then he needs get a few more tricks but, the fight will be a Banger!

Ortiz in 6. I'll be rooting for Murray though.

i think Ortiz will win, he has far too much class and murray is far too 1 dinmesional.

Murray has a good chin tho and he likes to get in there and scrap, should be a good one if it happens. Murray may lose his 0 though

I hope it doesnt happen, too much of a leap (which when speaking of a 30 fight fighter is a terrible statement but thats what padding does). He has barely been above domestic, i would like to see him against Mitchell and if he gets through that then Juan Diaz or David Diaz.

Personally think the likes of Katsidis or JMM would ruin him, and the top 140 forget it.

yeah agreed, definitely think he is being over hyped by the media just because of hi 30-0 record, which is very padded.

Murray would not see round 2. Ortiz would seriously **** him up. I know they want to put Ortiz on the card and i'm all for it, but they need to find somebody who could be at least somewhat competitive.

Murray is not a world class fighter. Ortiz, Marquez, Katsidis, Soto, etc would make light work of him. I would rather see him go up against someone like Brandon Rios.

Rios would make light work of him. Rios is world class also.

SOTO is the one who isnt world class. Murray beats Soto.

Ortiz definitely has too much for Murray but think it'll go 6 with the ref stopping it. Murray has a good chin and think his heart won't let him quit in such an important fight.

Murray won't go anywhere near an Ortiz. But I'd love to see this take place.

John Murray will smash Ortiz to bits just like Maidana did.
