    Matthysse jabs and hooks his way in, as Soto keeps his feet moving and pops combos featuring numerous uppercuts. Soto is trying to keep his back off the ropes and throwing uppercuts and 1-2's. Matthysse is backed up and reaching out to hold as Soto comes blasting forward. BIG right hand by Matthysse, superman punch trying to pin Soto in the corner. Soto pivots away from it and pops a quick straight combo. Nice lead right hand from a crouch by Matthysse, again almost pinning Soto in the corner but the Mexican flurries out. Big exchange, and Matthysse drops Soto at the bell with a hook and right hand! Not ruled a knockdown?

    20-18 Soto

    Should be 19-18 Matthysse if that KD was called.

    Soto out being active throwing flurries Hard right to the body from Lucas. Hard left and right to the body from Lucas. Soto working but missing and being blocked. Nice counter left from Lucas and a rright to the body. Counter right from Lucas. Soto throws 2 rights and both are blocked. Left hook from Lucas. Hard right to the head and body of Soto. Hard right to the body and left upstairs on Soto. Hard left and right o the body of Soto. Hard right from Soto hurts Lucas. Soto counter right pushes Soto back and he ripped him to the body. Hard right and left hand from Lucas. Hard left hook and BIG RIGHT AFTER THE BELL DROPS SOTO HARD!!! It isn't counted but he is hurt

    Soto starting quick, getting in with more shots. He's stiffling Matthyse totally. Soto timing Lucas well and clinching when needed. Nice uppercuts from Soto, he's showing better variety than the Argentine. Surprised by Soto's aggression, but man its fun. Matthyse lands at the end and drops Soto after the bell. 10-9 Soto.

    Matthysse having a better round, bullying Soto around the ring.

    Tough round to score, but I think Mattysse is landing bigger punches.

    Soto DOWN and is hurt, but it was slightly after the bell.
