Right jab by Ortiz from outside, pawing at the air. Right hand, left hook by Lopez!! Ortiz ducks down and bows his head. Sweeping left hook to the top of the head by Lopez!! Ortiz jabs up from a crouch past Lopez's left jab, both landing. Ortiz wrestles Lopez to the mat.

    I have a ton of respect for Lopez for his performance tonight. Close round but Ortiz edges it and takes a 3/2 lead.

    Ortiz controlling distance with the jab. Hard right hook from Ortiz. Ortiz ducking and slipping Lopez work. Hard left hands from oiz two of them they hurt Lopez hard. Ortiz landing hard counter lefts on a wild Lopez. Lopez ties up and Ortiz hits him on the back of the head. Lopez is not quitting but the docs are checking him out, doesn't look like we are going to get a DQ, but points might be taken. Ref warns Ortiz, no points will be taken, Lopez is getting time to gather himself. Hard right from Lopez. Hard left from Ortiz. Hard right hand from Ortiz. Lopez holding on for life. lopez winging punches, landing nothing. Hard right hand stunds Lopez and then lopez throws a punch and falls, they don't call it a knockdown but I believe it is from that hard Ortiz left.
