How do you see this fight now if they fought today (assuming Ortiz's jaw is fully healed)?

I've liked Victor for a long time, and he just disappoints me more and more, I wouldn't feel confident picking either, great fight though.

Ortiz would outweigh him by at least 10 pounds.

I believe Ortiz power carried up to 47 better than Maidana.. Plus Ortiz comes in around 160 for WW.. But could go like the first fight also..

When one guy faces adversity, he fights harder. When the other guy is faced with adversity, he gives up.

Maidana will pimp slap Victoria again.

Hard to pick. Would be fun but in the end I would call Maidana by late stoppage.

Well Maidana has proved he can punch at 147 by stopping Jesus Soto Karass aswell as he can box (Jabbing more, slipping punches etc.)

Ortiz on the other hand has now pulled out of another fight and his chin isnt amazing either

Ill take Maidana via a repeat of their first fight

Initially, I thought Ortiz would crush him at 147. But Maidana showed notable improvements on Saturday. Although his stamina is still an issue and he'll be pushed to the absolute limit against a motivated and focused Ortiz, he still packs a punch (not as deadly at 140, however) and the iron-will to make things difficult for Ortiz, too. It's a pick'em fight and too difficult to call since we don't know which version of Ortiz is gonna' turn up and how actually improved/effective Maidana is at 147 (Soto isn't exactly special).
