    Is this not a match up where we pit the best possible version against the best possible version? So why use the Maidana version of Ortiz that quit?

    Is it 100% foregone conclusion that Ortiz gets stopped?

    I concede that in all likelihood a stoppage is very possible for Vargas but Victor showed grit and determination against Berto and I get the impression that he has the ability to dig deep even if he's been prone to giving up. I suppose I'm being generous in giving him the benefit of the doubt. But let's not pretend that what I'm saying is somehow far fetched.

    The way Vargas was matched so hard,Victor wouldn't get a ringside pass to a Vargas fight,far less be an opponent.
