    @ 140lbs, I'd favor the bigger Ortiz.
(How the **** does this kid still make Jr. welterweight?)

Cotto by TKO but it'll be action-packed that's for sure. Cotto would be too much for him and would keep breaking him down.

:deal. Ok, ok maybe not that bad but Cotto was a beast in his prime. 140 Cotto beats all the top guys that are Currently at 140.

cotto was in a similar situation to ortiz when he fought torres, but unlike ortiz cotto got back up and knocked torres out.

cotto dug deep and gave everything he had, ortiz quit because he 'shouldn't be getting hit like that'.

True & I agree Ortiz deserves all the bad press he get's as a "quitter"...

That said, I think that was just a bad night. (Vs. Maidana)

    Cotto, just.

Not anywhere near as easy as some are predicting.

Yup exactly. Cotto-Torres and Ortiz-Maidana were VERY similar fights.... differance being Cotto has a lions heart, and Ortiz has a ******'s heart. If Cotto was a *****, we'd be talking about Torres with the same hype as Maidana right now.

BTW - Maidana-Torres would have been an absolutely SICK fight. Its a shame that Torres disappeared from the scene, after getting KO'd by Kendall Holt's head.

At 140 if anyone truly deserved the "Vicious" moniker it was Miguel Angel Cotto. At most Ortiz would have a puncher's chance and he'd most likely drop Cotto, Ortiz is a very strong 140lber himself, but Cotto would of gone to that body to minimize and slow down the very dangerous Ortiz. It would of been a bloodbath that's for sure, but to be fair with Ortiz we haven't seen the best of him while we've seen the best of Cotto. I think Cotto breaks him down with body shots, but gets dropped along the way and would go through hell in order to beat Ortiz. But Cotto for sure.

Cotto wins, and Ortiz is relegated to match-ups pitting him up against Wilfred Benitez or Aaron Pryor.
