Victor is a decent fight who should not have been in the ring with Floyd. I don't like excuses for a losses anyway. If a guy knows when the fight is and does not train or parties, I would rather not even hear about it after. That shows maybe the fighter lacked the confidence to beat the guy he was going to fight, so he drank a few days before to have a good excuse, and drinking before a fight shows a lack of discipline to be a fighter. I like Victor as a fighter, but he is not great. But he is exciting and worked hard, so I give him credit. Floyd should really fight the best fighters or retire. If Guerrero wins, that shows even handpicking cannot guarantee a win.

It showed Chavez Jr doing ****all during training, that surely didn't help hype the insane thought he'd beat Martinez. I'd find it quite odd if Ortiz were going to parties and no camera man knew about it.. Even if it hadn't aired on 24/7 before the fight, you don't think anyone would have a picture or video of him there? In this age, a picture or video should have surfaced by now if true.

 

doubt it, he was in wicked shape on fight night. What a waste of time that training camp was, hours of blood sweat and tears in the gym 6 days a week for 8 weeks down the drain.
