I can remember Philip N'dou doing the exact same **** on a your more prime Floyd while he was up against the ropes, land one maybe two clean shots and missing everything else, but we all know what eventually happened he got his ass starched, same with Hatton, we get it we already know you mother****ers hate Floyd and won't give him credit for **** so it is what it is, Vic wasn't getting to Floyd at all and was gonna get slept anyway...

What is your take on everything IB? I know you're a big fight fan and an objective guy. I am interested to see your opinion.

I thought it was completely legal, and a naive mistake by Ortiz personally. Too much apologizing, not enough fighting. Besides the fact I thought Ortiz was on his way to getting stopped anyways.

    How about you?

    You're exactly right. :good

The "ceremony of apology" was over...except in Ortiz's mind. He was making excessive, gratuitous overtures of 'sportsmanship' when the matter had already been settled with a point deduction and a glove touch and Cortez waving them together to resume action (and saying let's go) - AND he'd already kissed and hugged Floyd in the immediate aftermath in the corner. After the glove touch, it was go time. Floyd had the wherewithal to go. Victor didn't. Boom-boom. Night night. :hi:

The longer the fight went on the more busted up Victor's face wouldve become and the more punches he wouldve took. Floyd was in complete control, wasnt getting hit with anything big or anything really good for that matter and when he was up against the ropes he wasnt getting hit and against the ropes Floyd is just as comfortable then he is standing in the middle of the ring. He was hitting Ortiz whenever he wanted to and the longer the fight went on the more punishment Ortiz wouldve taken and I dont care what Pacquiao thinks cause anything other then this is false.

He would hope that if the fight continued Floyd wouldve had a hard time because from what he seen Floyd would beat the **** out of him. Floyd is still fast as ****, he seems to be punching with more force and is still hard to hit and is just looking a lot bigger and stronger then he use to. Floyd isnt losing to anyone at 140-154 for a while.

Ortiz wasn't winning, but he wasn't getting blown out, either. He landed some good shots in the 3rd and 4th.

    The entire PPV was quality.

Those three and a half rounds of Ortiz getting whipped were extremely satisfying to watch, as was seeing him get KTFO for his dirty tactics & subsequent stupidity.

I don't feel robbed, and feel that what we saw was simply an acceleration of what was to come anyway (probably a check hook/right hand combo would have kayoed Oritz around the 6th or 7th round).

Bogo, serious question - do you wear corrective lenses? Are you sitting too close to your monitor?

Look at those GIFs. Count Ortiz's actual connections.

    Give me a number.

And I'll only bet against Andre Ward if he actually grows some balls and fights Wladimir Klitschko..... bring that ass back down to earth.

Seriously IB. This stuff just baffles me. Ortiz didn't land **** and he posts that GIF as if it shows he was "getting to Mayweather."

Does the headbutt count as a connect? LOL

    Don't insult me IB.

The first one has about 3 landed blows, with a couple of partially blocked ones in there as well. Most were blocked or dodged.

The second one has two large hits land at the beginning, and only blocked or mostly blocked shots after that.

My point was simply that he was landing something, setting the pace, roughing him up, and using his size to his advantage. I know you got some kind of pleasure out of seeing Ortiz knocked out in a moment of confusion, but that doesn't change the fact that he wasn't doing half bad before he decided to get dirty.
