What if I told you Ingemar Johansson is his idol?

    I rather doubt it's true, but anything's possible... :D

I like Ortiz and think he will go very far if he can stay humble. He has mad skills and determination. He is another product of La Colonia Gym in Oxnard. I just hope they dont push him the same way they pushed Vargas you know. Because I feel this kid has a bright future at the weight he is in right now. :good

Ortiz 'd better keep his nose to the grindstone or he will be in for a bad surprise against the cagey vet Kotelnik.

Kotelnik proved in his last fight-an extremely entertaining one by the way- against the teak tough Argentinian banger Maidana that he can be victorious against the very best out there.
    Very tough fight for Ortiz!

Agreed. The kid can do big things. He's not invulnerable either - exciting times are ahead.

he's like a southpaw Vargas, p4p same power but more speedy...i first saw him against Arnaoutis and was impressed, and he looks like the future at 140...Arnaoutis is not a bum at all...
