I see he bet Harris in the 3rd round and he said he ready for anyone at 140 lb. What will be your view of him if he defeated a top 4 guy at 140lb?

I think he's very capable of beating them all at 140.

I think hes out of recovery and learned his lesson. I think he needs footwork help, he jumps alot like a rabbit. Other than that I would love to see a rematch with Maidana and rematch with Khan.

I already think Ortiz is a top guy at 140 and based on the last performances from Alexander and Bradley... i think he has a 50/50 chance of beating those guys. As for Khan, I would like to see what he does against Maidana first. If Khan wins convincingly I think that Khan could posess the toughest challenge. Ortiz hits hard though and we all know Khan's chin is questionable.

Spot in post. Ortiz is Overall has the better boxing attributes IMO. Speed, accuracy, power. None of the guys really have a great defense, they all seem to be level there. You then have the heart and desire. Bradley has that by a mile, but he may be to small for Ortiz. Khan can match or better his speed but well, you all know.. And despite giving up against Marcos, Ortiz has a solid chin.

I think he beats maidana in a rematch. He just has to stick to the game plan. Which he has learned.

Ortiz can mix it up with anyone in the 140lbs division. (& win)
My main concern with him is his SIZE, How much longer can he maintain his 140lbs status?

Other than that, He is ready for any of the top 140lbs.

I think he is 50/50 quitter, once you do it, is always on the back of u head, he doesn't want to b with Maidana in the same zip code, much less inside d ring, the only way he would fight Maidana again is if he is sure he would not hit back (stated in the contract)

it's time for golden boy to get him a mega fight, ortiz was talking about getting a fight on the undercard of khan vs maidana or one of bradley or alexander if there fight is not made.

ortiz vs judah is the fight that makes most sence, although i wouldn't mind watching ortiz vs berto at a catchweight of 144.

:patsch. That's why he called him out last night. And said he can't wait to get back in the ring with him.. Did you even watch the fights last night? Did you even watch the first fight between the two? Ortiz was handling him with easy before he got to cocky. The kid had been built up as being the next great thing by goldenboy. Now he knows that at this level you can't do that and that anything can happen in the ring.

Never heard of it, maybe he sent the offer to Mexico, and I think Maidana live in Argentina.

And yes, he loss his mojo, or to b more correct, Maidana took it from him. You can talk all you want but just because he beat an old over the hill Harris, which has being losing for the past 10 years, it doesn't mean that he is going to do the same against his nemesis, he can talk a good talk, but can he walk the walk? If they fight again and Maidana still in his prime, the first time he gets hit, all the demons will comeback to him.

If you take your beating like a man, yes, but he QUIT!! and he is only 22 or 23 years old, Juanma didn't quit when Mtagwa was beating up on him, and he took a beating on those last 3 rounds, they could b an armor for him, but if he doesn't have the will and the balls, that is all she wrote.

Ortiz Will crush Maidana. If he ever gets to. Maidana will be someone's road kill before that ever happens. He's a tough son of a ***** but in way over his head in this division.

I've maintained my confidence in Ortiz throughout this whole 'Heart' interrogation. He's a young kid, just watch.....

It has noting to do with last nights fight or the one before that against Nate. It wad evident that night that he ****ed up. He let the crowd get to him and thought he was invincible. Had he continued on with the strategy his corner wanted, he would have mabe stopped maidana. The skills are there, you can't deny that.

But coulda, shoulda, woulda.. He didn't and got ****ed up. You live and you learn. And I believe he has. Just my opinion
