i like how some *****s in this thread are calling floyd a coward for hitting him with his hands down but saying nothing about the fact ortiz tried a flying headbutt in a fcking boxing ring like some dirty ass coward because he was being frustrated gtfo go watch pac v mayweather in slow mo again and claim he won
WAS an exciting tv fighter. That win against Berto definitely the highlight of his career and that version of Ortiz was a beast. Nothing against Collazo, who in his day was a good boxer, but Ortiz got ko'd by a guy not really known for his power and had also seen better days. Berto has had bumps in his career and is bouncing back, Ortiz would need to do something drastic just to get back to being a top 10 welterweight.
Most of it sounds fairly sane for Ortiz except the delusion that he's better than other guys at 147 and how he doesn't think Floyd wants it again because of his performance. This part is definitely my fave 'I know that fight and my face keeps him up at night when the cameras are off.' atsch
That win from Floyd was butt ugly, I wish he didn't do that. It kind of reminded me of a post prison Tyson moment, only it was actually legal. His defensiveness towards Merchant after told the story. It did look like Ortiz was mentally finished though, the hug fest felt like he was going to soon submit and accept to a beat down, he was frustrated. Classless moment though, surely one punch would have put the point across, it felt to me like he wanted a difficult challenge ended quick smart.
he got his ass beat by lopez and Collazo not to mention Marcos Maidana stopped him previously . . . . a much inferior Madiana to the one hes become under Robert Garcia. His last decent win was when he beat Andre Berto 5 years ago.
"After I broke my wrist in a fight last December, its really hard for me to watch boxing to watch the sport that I love because I know a lot of these guys are not as good as I am. " I stopped reading after this...atsch
lol Ortiz says "Give the people what they want." I haven't heard a soul say that they want to see Ortiz fight anyone again.
Well I for one would like to see him in a proper man to man fight with Floyd minus the crooked ref, and guess what so would you and everyone else. :thumbsup
