Maxwell recently stopped two time Australian champion Matthew Paulley in a major upset of 2009 and is confident of repeating the same against Ellis who is regarded as one of Australias best prospects. Ellis has an excellent pedigree being the nephew of Australian boxing legend Lester Ellis who was world IBF 130 pound champion and reigned as champion during the 1980s. Victorias leading promoter Peter Maniatis said, Heath Ellis is not just all muscle and bang either, the kid will be a qualified elementary and secondary teacher later on this year and his sister is an attorney in two years. This kid excites me. l havent been this excited since Heath Ellis Uncle Lester Ellis was fighting in the 80s and 90s. Has anyone watched Maxwell? I didnt see the Pauley fight but its must have been a great win fro someone so new to the sport. Anyone give Maxwell a chance of KOing Ellis :huh [/FONT]
All that anger......... i thought living in the gay capital of australia you would be a little more friendly
Marcus.. Matthew Paulie was pretty long in the tooth, so its hard to guess Maxwell's ability. Either way, he's Tasmanian and offers twice the target.. Heath by KO's 7. BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
He faught on the Tassie PPV card didnt he? I remember thinking he looked pretty entertaining. Not a massive amount of ability but could bang and takes em to lend em! Ellis needs to be careful.
maxwell can punch & can take a punch.this well be an entertaining war, dont see it going the distance tho.ellis by ko in 8
Yup thats him. He isnt a slick boxer by any means but seams to have some good power. He keeps very fit and should be ready to give his all on the night.
