Victorian Boxer Blake Caparello took out the award for Victorian Boxer of the year at the recent Vic Boxing awards presentation day held at the Springvale RSL. Amongst the 60 loyal boxing enthusiasts present were former Commonwealth Champions Greame Brooke and Matt Ropis. Other award winners were: Main Event Fight of the year Michael Zerafa v Ray Anton Olarte on the 7th June over 10 Rounds which Michael won on points Undercard fight of the year Oscar Ledlin v Joel Camilleri over 8 rounds in which Oscar won on points, also on the 7th June at the Malvern town hall Most Improved Ben Capps Most Consistent Zac Dunn Best Prospect Jake Carr Non Boxer Contributor Howard Leigh
