Romero suffered a lot of his stoppage losses late (Bivol Round 8, Usyk Round 5, Denton Daley Round 6) or went the distance with Cunningham and Mekhontsev. This could go a few rounds.

romero is already exhausted. The cuban guy looks like he hasnt started already to fight, he looks like completely fresh.

tbh, romero is a "horrible fighter" (canelo's voice). But 40 fights of experience is a lot of experience, as many flaws as he has in his boxing, his experience is helping him to survive. Let's see if he can make his 6 rounds. 2 more to go.

romero was caught in his liver, he survived by grapling his oponent's left hand in the clinch, so that his oponent cannot repeat the punch to the liver. Amazing, he survived the round, it looked like really hard tbh. 1 round to go.

thank you! The channel is still forzen.

Honestly, no matter how many times I watch this situation in boxing, it always amazes me how far "raw-experience" can carry a boxer. Having nothing but experience is actually having a lot. I know it, but everytime I see it live I'm surprised.

Cruz looking to keep his record and stoppage rate perfect, stalking behind quick body jabs and lead hooks up top, gunning hard for his sixth KO in as many fights - but he is faced with a stubborn and tricky Venezuelan who is jogging around the ring, walking him onto right hand counters, and tying up frequently, sometimes pushing Cruz on the break so that he is spun around. Real pain in the behind, is Romero.

what a mistake by romero!!! he didnt go for the KO because he tought he is winning the fight, with cruz just standing KO there.

    He will regret!

Ultimo pelea. I don't think Cruz is keeping his streak, and he probably never wants to see Romero again. :sisi1

edit: if anything Romero actually might stop him! Cruz utterly gassed, and getting wailed on! Clinches now being initiated by the unbeaten Dominican!
