    Saludar is following until within a few paces, then stopping to watch & wait. Rosa is flashing a high right jab into the air, then pushing out a left hand lead downstairs to stave off Saludar, to no avail. Saludar just rides it by shifting in reverse slightly, then resumes his forward motion. Saludar with a long right on the waistband, and he knocks Rosa down with it, but the ref calls it a slip. It seems Rosa might have rolled his ankle or something? There is a long interlude where the ref instructs Rosa that he must continue within a certain timeframe, while Rosa shakes his leg and gestures at it. Time in. Not much happens. Missed straight combos on the body from both, although Rosa is putting steam on his southpaw 1-1-2, seemingly invigorated by the hurt ankle.

    Saludar is missing 1-2s over the head of Saludar, who comes up from his ducks with a left hook, also missing. Comp-U-Box for both men the last few rounds would probably make them blush. So many punches have been missed, between then. An embarrassing amount for a world title fight, in fact. Saludar is sallying in behind a tomahawk jab now, throwing BIG uppercuts at the body only for Rosa to skitter into the ropes to avoid them and/or bounce into a clinch. Rosa is on his bike, dancing around, obviously the ankle is feeling better. He manages to just clip the cheek of Saludar with a couple of his whipping right hooks while circling, which probably nets him a round neither should be too proud of.

    Saludar is a very solid fighter. Better than his record and who knows very well his job. Good boxing IQ. Imho Rosa needs to hurry and do a bit more, or he can say byebye to the fight.
