He should win comfortably but he can't afford to stay in cruise control and pick his spots as is his custom. It's too late in the game to make wholesale stylistic changes but Lara will need to step on the gas when he has Vanes hurt...which will probably happen fairly early.

Molina is among the best at 154, Lara didn't look good on that fight.
Erik morales had a bad night against guty espadas while on his peak.
Can't correlate a single performance to someones career.

That was pretty bad ass feathers fisted Molina coming off a 2 year lay off whooped on Lara and short notice... I keep telling this to the Cubans but they brush it off as nothing. Lara is much better now though.

I'll admit vanes has power and tenacity. I can see him breaking Lara down if Lara cant hurt him. But he's soo bad defensively I can't see the valid points you make making a difference. Lara has good enough footwork to land his left. And that's really all he'll need.

Ok folks, I'm not supposed to do this, but here it goes. Barring a ko, which is not supposed to happen, Vanes will win. He is atleast a 3-1 underdog tomorrow. Money will be made. GB is once again putting one of their guys out there to protect a cash cow. Canelo will not be fighting Martirosyan however. TR has to make more money off of there purse bid. It's a dirty game folks.
