Oleg looks very old....and he took the same shot that Tua got him with in the 11th of there fight.he always leaves himself open to those hooks....he seems like a great guy i hope he retires and i wish him well!!

Wow this Aguilera looks like something. Maskaev was in great condition, he just got zapped by a total beast with tremendous handspeed and accuracy.

Maskaev was already past his prime in 2006 when he won the WBC belt.

I guess it's retirement now for Oleg Maskaev. Not a bad career for the former top-ten heavyweight. He never had a great chin and when a 40 year old fighter slows down, having a bad chin doesn't help matters. Just ask Roy Jones Jr. Fighters who tend to do well in their older age are guys like George Foreman and Bernard Hopkins. Guys who can take the punches.

 

That was sad.

Boxing needs some sort of mandatory retirement.

Maskaev's always been inconsistant, but its time he hang them up. That was really sad. Shame, I always liked Oleg, he was a square guy.
