Really frightening stuff, I thought for a moment after the last knockdown the referee was going to let Robinson at him again!
That's why as a welter h2h, I confidently pick him over both Mayweather and SRL...he was as dangerous as an downed telephone cable...raw voltage from SRR..at any time would have spelled the end for either of them. Robinson was a hard man who didn't play...he would have killed Mayweather.
Everybody knows the French can't take shots to the body Stock landed a pretty good right hand that shook up Robinson a bit, but it was too little, too late.
I think he'd beat SRL via a competitive but fair decision. I'm thinking 9-6. To be controversial i think Hearns might have the best chance of almost anyone but i do have him a heavy underdog. I think the only way to beat prime SRR is to stop him, and history isn't exactly kind to that scenario. If anyone could jag it Hearns would be the man, tho the chances are of course extemely slight. Hearns did shatter a couple of very notable jaws at 147 and 154. When you look at Roberto Duran's career, both pre Hearns and way after him the KO stands as one of the greatest in the history of the sport. I wish Hearns caught SRL with a shot like that at Welter
