    The date is May 19, 2007 he is 16 years old and at this point had only fought about 12 times. This fight is a good reference for how much he has actually improved so have at it.

    he was easier to hit back then. hes a lot stronger, more patient, and more defensive-minded than before. goldenboy moving him along nicely

    I found it funny that at 16 and in his first fight didn't seem to care that he stopped the opposition.

    Was still powerful at that time, but man he has really improved and will keep doing so until he peaks.

    He's definitely improved from then and seems to grow with each fight.. Laughed at his reaction to the KO.. Hopefully him fighting his style from such a young age won't shorten his career too much.

    When I was 16, boxing professionally let alone knock your opponent out cold would be the coolest thing in the world. Canelo walks away from the Ko like its nothing, what a G.
