Video - A brief chronology of the 1990s heavyweight division

I thought the Rocky mention was relevant, insofar that it made people become aware of Tommy. And I don't think there's any trimming that down. The story, at least as far as I saw it, was the road of the top players crossing paths, in a linear progression.

 

My inspiration was actually The Brady Bunch.

 

I don't think it's terrible, but I am much more fond of Rocky 3 & 4. I'd rather Sly have just remade those films, with a new antagonist. I do understand what he was trying to do, and that he was looking for something different, and I still like the scene when Rocky jumps in to defend Paulie, "No why don't you try knocking me out", but I still think it's the weakest film in the franchise, even if you include Creed.
