Video: Amateur boxer attacks referee

Saw the video, don't feel bad for the ref at all. Red was clearly in the fight, shouldn't have even called it a KO, but then he stopped the fight, even though Red clearly looked ready to go.


Mind you this all happened in the first 10 seconds of the fight. Ref deserved it.

 

No ref deserves to be assaulted like that ..

 

Thats one way of KO'ing corruption from the sport

 

I can understand the standing count, even though I don't agree with it..
I don't get why the ref called it off though, blue was throwing practically nothing but wild arm punches that probably wouldn't have much impact behind them.

I think this should be aloud in pro boxing when a ref is corrupt or the judges are blatently paid off

Having watched that a couple of times how the hell did that ref justify stopping the fight?

 

He should be banned from the sport for life. There are no reasons for this. The video is brutal.
