I know we like to make fun of Calzaghe on here for all the british stoppages he's accumulated. We also make fun of his sloppy, hilarious slapping style and his horrific resume. But credit where credit is due. I just came across this sickening KO by Zaggers. Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHI2xtFHOnk
46 -0 when there is no blueprint the KO's are just unexplainable to the human eye ..And they call Hopkins the Alien..That's stoppage is straight out of this world . :think
Calzaghe broke his left hand on Reid's head in the 3rd or 4th and never threw it as hard as he could again.
Sources say both men were rushed to the hospital afterward. The man who was brutally stopped was obviously of concern, but Calzaghe was also taken due to breaking his entire arm after landing the titanic shots we've seen.
Obviously there was no reason to stop that fight. But it's much better to stop a fight too soon, rather than too late. A recent example that comes to mind is when Howard John Foster almost got George Groves killed, by stopping the fight too late. And I fear that in light of the unfounded controversy that followed that stoppage, nobody will dare to call the stoppage in the rematch. I fear for the man's life, and I pray that his corner will throw in the towel when Froch starts to unload on a gassed Groves in the later rounds. If not, the relentless british lion will maul away, until Groves much like his hairline, is no more.
