found this for your viewing pleasure. To be honest, i almost would rather see a single entity that what we have now. that way everyone would fight everyone, we wouldnt be getting jerked around with this crap of how two of the best fighters in the world in the same weight division cant fight and more boxing would be on tv.

The only reason DLH wants a UFC type monopoly over boxing is because he sees how much those ****ers Dana White and the Fertitas make and how they can control the relatively little amounts they pay their fighters.

Don't get it twisted that this guy has the best interest of the sport at heart. He was one greedy son of a ***** as a fighter. The Trinidad rematch never got made because he refused to pay Tito what he was worth, even though Oscar needed it for his legacy...and other fighters had to accept unfair amounts like Mosley 4 million for their rematch when Oscar made over 20 million.. and remember when he paid Campas only 100K?

Shouldn't expect any different from DLH the promoter. The guy just wants to control the money. Too bad that won't work in boxing as the top fighters have always been bigger than the sport and they will always command a fair share of the money their fights generate. De La Hoya should instead think about buying the WWE as he will never control boxing.

First of all I am not so sure that the UFC is actually doing better than boxing. Secondly, neither MMA nor any other sport has just one promotional body. MMA isnt governed by a single entity either but by a president and various commissions. The most popular U.S. sport (football) isnt governed by a single entity either. Thirdly, Oscar is a poor example to be associated with any kind of single governing body. He is already blocking good fights via HBO. He has a history of ripping off his own raza even as they sacrifice for him in the ring. He is also an envious slander of various fighters like Pac. He has been throwing his wait around and slandering against Margo. He is a racketeer. He has paid off judges even for things like statutory ****. He bonds well with criminal minds. There is evidence and/or witnesses alluding to his past steroid use. etc etc etc...

All promoters should loose power, not gain it

Oh and I guess Oscar is still spurned about the bloody lips and noses Margarito gave him up at Big Bear cause he's been publicly fit to be tied over the upcoming Margarito/Pac fight. I bet he will move more of his fighters to Showtime now. Not only is he condemning the fight at every stage but his most recent issue of Ring Magazine has typically been reduced to lying and slandering; claiming that Margarito had plaster of pares in his gloves even though there was never any plaster found in Margarito's wraps or gloves. Interestingly, that same magazine dissed former boxer John McCain just before his election; and while time HBO, Golden Boy and Charlie Rangle were compromising our view of under-card fights just so they could compare Obama to the great Joe Louis. Then likewise, they made a slandering documentary comparing Margarito to Restro.

Why the sinister coincidental conspiracies? Because Oscar often gets what he wants and Power corrupts and Oscar (like corruption) always wants more power.

Arum was a graduate of Harvard Law School, no joke. He really was and I'm not being facetious.
