Was robbed again Byrd and Ruiz. Beat the crap out of Bowe twice but they robbed him x 2. Sure he was dirty and punched Bowe in his testicles but Bowe was a very dirty fighter too. Fact is he pulled a no mass x 2 when he was on the receiving end of some of his own medicine.

He clubbed Golota with lots of illegal blows to the back of the mind.

Low blowed the hell out of Coetzer.

Sucker punched poor Larry Donald twice at the pre-fight press conference.

Cracked Buster Mathis and knocked him out with a full power right hand while he was down on the canvas which he nearly got DQ'd for. If that was Golota he would've been DQ'd.

And let's not forget the attempted homicide against Elijah Tillary after the bell with his partner in crime Rock Newman.

And the brace of attempted homicides of Golota by Bowe's goons and an innocent parachutist who accidentally parachuted into the ring after having to bail from his plane before it crashed and vaporized him

I'm not saying Golota wasn't a dirty fighter. He was so but so was Bowe.

I can't say he was robbed vs Bowe the referees gave Golota plenty of leeway, especially in the first fight where Golota had 3 points taken away, until the referee had no choice but to throw him out.

I agree Bowe wasn't exactly the cleanest fighter himself, but in regards to the Golota fight the referees had no choice but to DQ Golota. Did you see the 3 punch combination to the carrots and onions at the end of the 2nd fight ? ouch.

Bowe did get a bit of taste of his own medicine though i do agree with that, Golota was supposed to be a cherry pick for Bowe but it was a cherry pick gone wrong. Golota was a skilled big man who Bowe couldn't bully, and he got beat up pure and simple.

If the roles were reversed Bowe would not have been DQ'd. They DQ'd Golota for punching a known very dirty fighter and testicle puncher in the testicles who had punched him in the back of the mind many times. Just like they wouldn't have robbed Byrd and Ruiz had they deserved to win against Golota.

They referred to Golota as the ''Foul Pole'' but they never referred to Bowe as ''Rotten Riddick'' or 'Bellow The Belt Bowe'' even though Golota never tried to commit multiple homicides in the ring on live TV.

I get what your saying and Bowe certainly was fortunate vs Coetzer, Mathis. But Golota literally gave the referees no other option other than to DQ him. As i said Wayne Kelly took 3 points away from Golota before DQing him, he gave him a chance and plenty of leeway but Golota couldn't control himself.

Honestly i know this sounds bizarre but i've always thought Golota has some kind of Anxiety/Panic attack when he lashes out like that.

I believe Golota was discombobulatized by all the illegal punches to the back of the mind. The ref should've deducted 3 points from Bowe for all those and the fact he predictably didn't obviously frustrated Golota and understandably lead him to believe he wasn't just fighting Bowe but he was also fighting the ref and the System too and then that frustration boiled over and he decided to let Bowe's testicles know what time it was.

I remember this fight, the big Don King Heavyweight "Extraviganza"! I thought Golota did extremely well that fight and I think Byrd would have beat him soundly if they had fought again, but Golota should have been given another opportunity at the title given his solid effort.

Yes. This fight deserved a rematch. Byrd and Golota have unfinished business. It is very difficult to rate this kind of fight. But I wanted to say something else. Of all Andrew Golota's fights that were "close fights", here Golota showed great mental stability.

Golota never got the nod in any of his close fights. His nickname that some ******* gave him ruined any chances of him getting the nod in close fights. And yes, he beat the **** out of Bowe twice and gave him brain damage.
