Video: Calzaghe/Hopkins..lol.Can you really be the loser after this?

Just seemed that Joe's work rate came on in the later rounds, this was Bernard's downfall. There wasn't any punches getting through due to Bernard defensive skills.

 

I was reffering to the point where Hopkins fell to his knees holding his dick for no obvious reason.
Watch that part again, i can't be arsed making a clip of it right now.

 

i wont deny the way he punches is a little on the odd side but that video came up with hopkins throwing the occasional jab or just clinching

as one jeff lacy said, he hit harder than i thought

how do you knock someone over by merely slapping them????

anyway JC forced hopkins to fight that he clearly wasnt comfortable with and not only beat hopkins, but beat him the hard way, JC would have beaten him whatever pace they fought

 

B-Hop became Huggy Bear against Winky too....although I thought he beat Winky and drew or just lost to Calzaghe...very close

B-Hop was not showing any old school skills there.....as James Toney said about him after the Calzaghe fight.....he just throws a punch and grabs.....leading with his head......very sneaky

 

hopkins didn't fight like he wanted a rematch

 

if hopkins tried that calzaghe would look much better in beating hopkins in a rematch. but he was so negative the first time a rematch will never happen.

 

The funniest thing is when Bhop landed that combo at the end of the round 6 or 7 and Calzaghe was wobbling backwards like he wasn't hurt..That mother****er was hurt. Look at his legs.

It did **** me off that Joe had to deal with Hopkins fists AND head in the fight. Every time Hopkins threw a punch he would dive in with his head which joe wasn't adept at defending against and then hopkins would clinch. Close fight but I thought joe deserved the nod.

 

Oh pish posh. If he had the presence of mind to mock Hopkins then his head was obviously pretty clear.

And if hes legs were going why didn't Hopkins use his 'ring smarts' to seize the moment and really put Calzaghe on ***** street, especially if Joe just '***** slaps'.:huh

It was the end of the round and when he was backing up look at his legs. They were unintentionally wobbly. When he went back to his corner his facial expression says it all. So I guess he didnt get dropped in the first round as well huh. Yeah we all know Calzaghe cant be stunned. :rofl

 

Hopkins spanked that ass, everybody knows it... Fukkk that work rate ****.
