Same. It's close to a 50/50 fight in my estimation, with Usyk just being a slight favourite imo, which makes Fury very good value. Gonna wait to see how the odds pan out, I might go for Fury outright winner, with a small bet on Fury by decision too.

Yes I think it’s a combination of both. Hopefully he beats fury and then retires. I don’t want to see hearns gloating face if Joshua gets to face him for a third time and beats him as he’s slowed down even more.

A lot of people tend to forget or oversee that fury started to feel the pace and started to tire out after the nose shot in the 8th. Usyk outfought him and set a relentless pace. Fury was in the second best shape of his career (wlad fight was his best shape).
Usyk will beat him more clear this time and perhaps finish him late or he won't make it to the fight (50% chance there won't be a rematch)

I think he has a great chance to win. Despite the results of the 1st fight, I still see this fight as close to a 50/50 fight.

Fury's size is still going to give Usyk problems. Usyk will still have to work hard to get inside. All the problems that Usyk faced will still be there. Usyk had a nice break when he landed a punch that busted Fury's nose and slowed him down, but what if he doesn't land a similar punch in the 2nd fight... how will he slow Fury down this time?

Usyk kinda knows the blueprint now, but he still have to execute it. The problem is that he has to do it again giving up the same massive height and reach disadvantages. Fury will also learn from the first fight and he will be adjusting his game plan. I think he's going to be using more range this time around.

It's going to be a chess match. I favor Usyk slightly, but Fury can win this fight with a few adjustments.

You need back to back fighgs and year round training to fight at full tilt

Neither usyk or fury looked like their former selves in them late rounds. Usyk took breather rounds mid fight and furys problem late fight is his power wains and his feet slow just fought to give Usyk a footspeed edge to close the distance on him

Anything can happen. Usyk himself has said how tough the fight was.
But Fury's short (brain) recovery time and atrocious trainer make it difficult now to pull it off.
Still, Fury has done well in rematches so he might have figured out some ways of dealing with Usyk better next time. Usyk can do the same of course. I don't think anyone should be too confident about a pick.

Fury’s only chance is to try and bully and bulldoze Usyk in the first 6 rounds but he can’t try that because it won’t work and he will gas out and get KOed. Usyk is just levels above Fury. Fury is just fighting a guy that is better than him.

Do people really think Fury with expierance of Usyk and another 6 months being in decent shape training from a base which he should have had when he originally fought Usyk is going to be any worse?

Personally I think the injury saved his bacon. He looked slim and drained at the end of his camp but the cut gave him time to reset. He looked poor in that sparring footage also...and on the night he looked great barring the GLARING issues which he clearly will aim to fix.

Both will be entering camp in just over a months time....get hyped.

Do you think 6 months after having a bad concussion isn't enough? You might be right.

I wouldn't expect Fury to get in that position again though to let Usyk land such a punch. It wasn't just a mistake it was something no boxer in the history of boxing should be doing and it cost Fury greatly.

OK, I'm gonna cause a stir here and I will caveat this post by saying I still haven't watched the fight back but...I thought Fury nicked the first fight by one point. Now, now, please, no pile on, let me elaborate. I think the best man won. And I think had Fury got the nod, or a draw, Usyk could claim to have been robbed because the fight should have been stopped in the ninth. Make no mistake, Usyk is the better MAN. But on the night I saw him look confused for the first time. The rounds Fury won before, I think, the 8th were clear, hurtful and had Usyk rattled...and clearly that goes the other way after the 8th!! Fury briefly forgot he was a prizefighter after he took the shot to the nose and he looked rattled, uncomfortable and yes, incredibly vulnerable. I felt he'd done just enough and from memory, the judges had it one point difference either way and one two point wide for Usyk...so, a close fight. And certainly one I'm not crying about and neither should Fury. Before the 8th it was his to lose, and ultimately lose he did. The scores suggest an argument can be made either way, that's boxing. Put it this way had it been close but unanimous for Usyk, the same for Fury, or a draw, I don't think there could have been any complaints.

Cards on the table, I am a Fury fan. But. I'm glad he was beaten. He has been taking the **** for a long while now and this fight will make or break him. Thing is, I can see a lot of ways he CAN improve, fight differently, whereas I'm not sure Usyk can fight better. He was pushed hard, looked very uncomfortable. For me, he is head and shoulders the best of this generation BECAUSE he beat Fury; AJ was made for Usyk, styles make fights. I loved the Fury fight because Fury pushed him so far. The same Fury people mock, call a clown etc whilst deifying Usyk. If Usyk is THAT good, and I think he is, then Fury is surely not far behind him on that performance. For me, Fury usually has a brilliant boxing brain. His gauge of space and ability to control distance with that pawing ineffective looking but persistent and hurtful jab is, at times, joyous, and his ability to walk even an elite fighter like Usyk onto shots is in itself an elite skill. For me, the AJ that lost Usyk 2 was a much better fighter, in fact the best AJ I've seen, so he learned a lot from fighting, and losing to Usyk. If I'm right about Fury's ring IQ, he will improve even more. I may, as ever, be entirely wrong, and, please, I've admitted I only watched the fight live, so don't slaughter me for my score, but I'd not be surprised if Fury wins and wins comfortably this time in a much duller more technical but messier affair....can't wait to find out...

Ultimately I think Fury did about as well as he could in the first fight; he was in his best shape since Klitschko, and in the opening half of the fight he boxed well, showing a good control of distance and landing some good body shots on Usyk. However he simply could not cope with the pace Usyk was setting; if I had to predict an outcome for the rematch, I don't think Fury has it in him to prepare as well second time around. I feel Fury will crumble under Usyk's relentless pace and pressure at an earlier juncture in the rematch; I wouldn't be surprised if Usyk stops him this time.

Of course he can but will he? I don't know. It's still a fascinating match up. Less showboating and more professionalism gives him a better chance.
