Not that they have similar styles, but Floyd would have to fight Canelo off the back foot. If he can move, it will be an easy night for Floyd, but if he is stuck on the ropes and moving slow, Canelo can do some damage.

i am not saying canelo would not have problems with floyd, but every now and than floyd regains energy and stays in the ropes, he does that often, even when he is in great shape. and besides there, with his fast hands, canelo would have enough moments to catch him seriously hurt him. he got the combination punching, the youth, the power to do so, floyd fans so afraid. they say he would beat him up easily and in the same sentence why floyd should not face canelo. I ask myself, if they think floyd beats him up so easily, who should they than not want him to ste in the ring with him, since it would be so easy. all bumps.

Canelo fights in spurts as well, he does not throw for 3 mins of every round.

I agree that Canelo can KO Mayweather. He does not have fearsome power, but is heavy handed.


The second half of your post is nonsense, im a Floyd fan and think it is the fight to happen next should Floyd get past Guerrero. FLoyd has a history of fighting the top rated fighters in the division, plus both being with Goldenboy, it is logical that they will push for this fight.
