    Taylor had built a large lead on two of the three scorecards going into the last round.

    Chavez TKO'd Taylor in Round 12 with 15 seconds left.

    What a Legend!

    How anyone can say this was a bad stoppage is beyond me. Chavez had this guy a bloody mess. Look at Taylor, his face was hamburger and he didn't know where he was. It's sad that that Taylor's health was never the same post fight. What did folks want, for Chavez to leave his right hand impaled in Taylor's head? Should have, would have do not cut it no matter how much you may dislike the other fighter. Chavez dropped him(and dropped him bad), the ref counted and he was out.

    I was there & it's a night & atmosphere that still is as clear as day to me, incredible night & well worth the 18 hour 3 stop cheap flight agony.

    Correct & Proper stoppage, when the ref asks yer "You OK" & you look away then you are DONE so DEAL WITH IT!

    Taylor looked like he was worked over by a couple of niccas with a two by four.
    Chavez looked like he had just ended a sparring session.

    I think the ref stopped it because Taylor could never let go of the ropes.

    I agree especially after the 10 the ref gave him and Taylor could still not let go of the ropes.
