The video accuses Holyfield of cheating to beat Mike Tyson and that Don King paid the judges off to overlook Holyfield fouls.

The video strongly implies that Tyson never would have lost had Holyfield not resorted to fouling.

    LOL. Funny video.

So King pays money to secure win for washed-up Evander Holyfield over biggest money-making PPV star in boxing?

Makes sense in terms of business :)

Yes Evander committed some fouls, but I don't think it was fixed.

Don King won no matter which fighter won.

Well, in theory, he could be motivated by creating the demand for a rematch. If Tyson beats Holyfield, there is less demand for a re-match than visa versa.

But, I don't ascribe to that theory.

Don King has been winning since the 70s. I heard that he killed someone.

Tyson wouldn`t have gone on to do much anyway, he was 30 and in decline.

I think their would have been a rematch if Tyson because it would have been so close.

That might be true, but then you can't blame Tyson for biting him. I mean once you start fighting dirty, you don't get to dictate what your opponents response is supposed to be.

And, despite what we might perceive, ask any neurologist, being head butted is objectively worse in the sense of physical injury than having your ear bitten which is relatively minor considering the possible injuries that could occur.

In light of that, I'd say Tyson was perfectly right for what he did and Holyfield ought to be praising Jesus to this day that Tyson pushed him when his back was turned rather than punch him in the back of his head or neck.

And I'm trying to be as objective as possible without taking sides.

Tyson got beat at his own game tbf. Holyfield was a dirty rough fighter but tyson was the worst at it. Used to be blatant with the elbow following through with the punch.

Regardless though i dont think tyson had the stamina at that point to keep up with holyfield with or without the headbutts.

I'm not saying Tyson never fought dirty, but if he didn't fight dirty against Holyfield, then Holyfield started it. I still count it as a good win, but it's not fair to put all of the blame on Tyson.

I think it's a case of Holyfield is viewed as the good guy so he gets a pass and Tyson is the bad guy so whatever he does will get nit picked and scrutinized. Like the red headed stepchild who can do nothing right.

Agree holyfield was dirty all fight. He kind of bullied the bully in the end tho. Tysons past fights works against him because hes complaining about stuff he done himself in previous fights. He should have fought fire with fire and done the exact same back to holyfield but think he kind of knew he,d met his match at it. Holyfield was better at it than he was. With tyson it always looked blatant...holyfield was a master at disguising it.

Tyson then loses it by biting him instead of using his head...literally. His elbows etc. Basically everything holyfield was doing. He was outroughed and didnt really know how to deal with it. Agree with your point though mate...theres no argument holyfield was the dirty of the two fighters that night. Looking back on it as much as tyson was wrong to do what he done...he never just lost it for no reason and started biting bits of ears off.

Still no real justification for it...should have just tried to fight holyfield at his own game.
