The funniest one was in their first bout when Tyson dived in with the head and screamed in pain when he came off second best, don't fcuk with the Real Deal.......

This is why Tyson's image is largely myth, you ever hear Frazier, Dempsey, Foreman , Liston whining about how they were treated in the ring? Mike was a mentally weak fighter and Evander knew
it. Holyfield won because he was more man than him period

Tyson did a recent podcast with Lennox Lewis, its on Mike's twitter. Even Lennox said he didn't blame Tyson for the bite and Holyfield was a cheater. I was shocked :tonguecrazy:

I think that was a blatant attempt by Tyson to get the fight stopped to be honest. He knew he was in trouble and wanted an out.

Liston said Williams treated him rudely in the first round.

But joking aside, i think if the fight would have been allowed to continue like i think it should have, Holyfield would have fought a lot cleaner.

Not sure i agree mike was mentally weak...he stayed in and took his beating a good few times. I think the bigger problem was...he didnt have the stamina to stick it out. Mentally he was fine. Dont get me wrong mike probably was naturally a mentally weak guy but i think cus broke that thinking down in him. Mentally weak fighters dont stick around for a ten round beating against douglas, lewis etc.

I think his lifestyle and lack of serious training for years led him to being unable to fight the style effectively. He gave it what he had...but couldnt keep up with the demands when he was properly tested. He was actually mentally strong in their...he just had a ridiculous lifestyle/prison etc for a style that needed great stamina.

Every fighter I ever saw who goes in there winging big shots gasses out, Holmes said these guys are good for about 4 rounds. Tyson was like that, when guys didn't fall he had no answer. He bit Holyfield in the second fight because an azz kickin was coming again and he wanted no part of it. It was the only time up until then that it happened. Do you recall after Tyson got beat up by Lewis that during an interview with his kids present he was asked if his career was over, I seem to recall him saying his career had been over since 1990.

I'm sure someone made a video saying Elvis and Tupac are living together on a desert island somewhere, too.

    Doesn't make it true.

Poor, poor, "Armbreaker" Tyson got roughed up. Is it not tooooo baaaaadddd?

I didn't like that grant win either to be fair. Totally unnecessary fouling by Lewis, marred the ko

Thats true of tyson post prison. Pre prison he was still able to continue his assault for the 12 rounds without too much trouble. Obviously he tired like everyone but he was able to keep it up. He winged less punches. More accurate pre prison.

The problems started post prison. Didnt have the stamina to keep up the style. Gave it his all in the first holyfield. And he pretty much gave it his all in every fight since. Its just that the stamina wasnt good enough for it. It was a young mans style plus he didnt actually have that many options to change the style with his height/length disadvantage.

When the tank went...after his putting it all in...it was only a matter of time. Luckily with his power and fast hand speed which was diminished but still fast...it got him by...until a proper test turned up anyway. Holyfield was all wrong for post prison tyson. I m not sure he was for pre prison tyson tho.

Holyfield 2 could be argued he was fed up getting headbutted but the fight was going the same as the first fight anyway.

His career did end in 1990 to an extent. Tyson as we knew him died anyway. He stopped training the same way. Lost everything around him that led to his success. Made terrible decisions ended up going to jail because he most probably was a ******...then came out without the stamina needed to fight the style without the work ethic. I actually think it was testament to how well cus taught him that he could still compete and beat most of the guys out there. He would have been destroyed if he was just half decent to start with.

I wonder if thats Holyfield's real house? Someone see if they can make out the address. Maybe a few of us posters can get together for a road trip to Evander's house!

He stomped a guy to death in front of the police. Don King is a terrible person and always has been.
