This. Alot of these idiots thought Ward was going to not only lose but get brutally stopped well that didn't happen so now they're pissed.

Ward doesn't fight on the inside either. Inside fighting is NOT throwing one punch then coming in for a clinch and then throwing one more punch. It is hilarious how todays boxing fans don't even know what real inside fighting is because it has become so watered down.

I've said before, Kovalev initiated a lot of clinches to negate Ward's in fighting. Clinching is a necessary evil in boxing, don't get why people think it was only Ward. Every time Ward ducked Kovalev would either push his head down or head lock him.

How can you completely ignore the reason 90% of those clinch were initiated directly from ward charging in low and spearing at Kovalev .

Lol, that's how Billy goats initiate contact, they don't have human arms and hands to throw proper strikes

No different than how the Bernard Hopkins fans excuse his boring and disgraceful tactics. When Hopkins clinches, holds, grabs, wrestles, fakes low blows, etc it is somehow laughably considered him being 'crafty' or a 'veteran'. Anyone else does those EXACT same things they are 'cheating' or 'dirty'. You can't have it both ways.

Ward won. Don't have a problem saying that. Could have gone either way for me. If I were a judge I would have been too pu$$y to name a clear winner and called it a draw. BUT Kovalev only clinched because Ward was coming in with his head down. He probably studied the Kessler fight and wanted to protect his face from Wards head coming back up. I totally expected Kovalev to do this just like I expected Ward to be a piece of s#it. Just kidding, just like I expected Ward to fight his game.

Really? To me at .25 he came in every time with his head down. OR Kovalev would walk forward while Ward was crouching and they would tie up.

The joke was on Kovalev, look what that tactic did to him in the second half of the fight. He burned out his fuel doing his Vladimir Klitschko impression. lol

Kovalev put Ward in a headlock over 12 times. This wasn't preemptive holding to avoid holding (total nonsense). That was to avoid Ward's inside work that he knew he couldn't deal with. Ward was trying to get into close range the entire fight.

    Robbery doe :llorona:

A Ward escape mechanism classified as "infighting". Kovalev should have put Ward in a chokehold and finished him after the 50th lunge.
