    Shakur Stevenson sparred Curmel and said that he's like Inoue:

    "Stylistically, maybe like a Inoue, with more punches. Because he kinda throw more punches than Inoue, because he’s fast, sharp, keep his hands up. So, I’ll say like a Inoue, with a lot more punches.”

    Curmel said Inoue's a "solid" fighter and that he's going to be better than Inoue:

    "I mean, Inoue is a solid fighter. He has skills. He’s fast, strong. But I feel like I’ll be a lot bigger than him. I’ll be a lot better fighter than him when it’s all said and done. And I’m just getting started. I’m 17. This is my pro debut, and I feel like I have a lotta potential, and I’mma show it."

    So if Moton's gonna be greater than Inoue, then boy better fight a champion and consensus #1 in his 6th pro fight.

    Just more BS from Floyd. Floyd knew there would be ZERO chance the fight would be sanctioned. He wouldn't even let Tank fight Lomachenko after Tank was 18-0.

    Seems Floyd is a sucker for fighters with horrendous names. Gervonta and now ****ing Curmel? Wtf? How do you go "yeah, that sounds cool, let's name him Curmel".

    I saw the video of that the other day. The fact he said he was going to be a lot better fighter than Inoue didn't irk me much even though it's a bit disrespectful considering Inoue is an undefeated four-weight champion who was undisputed at 118 and will likely be undisputed at 122 come the end of the year. The bit which irked me was him describing Inoue as a ''solid fighter.'' That was so Floyd :lol:

    Curmel's only 17. Inoue's 30 and said that he wants to retire by 35. Maybe Inoue can son him down the line at 126 or 130 — give the youngin' his first L by way of kayo.

    I just hope for Floyd's sake that the Yamaguchi-gumi clan doesn't catch wind of this. I have many 'business associates' over in Japan, including numerous high ranking members of that clan, and I know they will hold Floyd personally responsible for his protege's disrespect and trust me when I tell you that this could end very badly indeed for Floyd if they were to find out.
