Tyson still looks good I wonder how he'd do if he were to do some training. Good to hear from Mike he's much smarter than people think and I'm not surprised Dana's cursing lol.

I understood the mutual respect but that's not the joke.

Listen to some Tyson interviews all through his years. You'll see why I said it.

Not specifically.

At different points of his career/life, based on audio and written interviews, he seemed to feel at odds with people paying him compliments...especially to much. And it depended on the person who was doing it. Depending on when you interviewed him, he would say different things. On the other hand, I think, if you did pay him compliments he might have thought...maybe I can get something else out of this or what is this going to lead to...which can lead into something else...specifically I would say women.
Either if he was being serious or just being funny or a mix of both....you have to ask him.
Kind of like the Ruddock interview would be just one partial example.

I could all day long with Tyson quotes, he's the most unintentionally funny dude ever.

 

Or he could just tune in to some UFC

 

I was looking at this interview from a reflection stand-point.

Tyson has given interviews where he is asked to reflect on an interview and/or event he did in years prior.

So I was thinking...let's say Tyson is asked about this event and is reflecting on this discussion with Dana...and he mentions how Dana starts off the interview by complimenting him so much that he feels Dana is kissing his ass to the point where he {Tyson} will joke to the interviewer that he felt a blow-job was coming after the ass-kissing.
That's seems to be Mike's sense of humor to lighten things up.




Now as far as what is going on, it's obvious Dana is a fan like many of us are and he is paying his respect to Tyson in an honest manner.
But that's the given and not the point with trying to make it funny. The joke was meant to lighten up the thread but that went above the head of a poster. Not his fault and that's cool.

 

When people say,"you'd be dangerous if you had a brain",I now know it's true.Tyson has always been smarter than people think,but now he sounds so lucid.If he was this clear when he younger he would have been at least 10 percent better and would've lasted who knows how much longer.

This and his physical condition make me happy as if he was my big brother.I'd watch one warm up fight with a bum leading up to one and I mean ONE fight with Holyfield for some sweet revenge for all that headbutting that Holy won't acknowledge.
