whilst groves does try and talk like booth too much, in his delivery, cadence and style, he is learning a lot from working with and being around Haye and Booth. Jim McDonnell is a very good trainer but does DeGale have anyone there to help mentor him, as in a current very succesful boxer?

DeGales defo the worst trash talker in boxing. By that i mean he is terrible at it.

Cant wait for the fight though

Also having Dave Coldwell in the Groves camp helps a lot as well imo. Very decent trainer and allrounder. :good

Degale looked like an idiot, not funny at all and Groves looked like a scared little boy thats the way i saw it.

It's not quite as staged as that, at least both have been vocal in their rivalry before they signed to fight. Haye and Fraudley's "rivalry" switched on as soon as they signed to fight, it was like a soap or wrestling storyline. The fighters were so unevenly match that they had to pluck a rivalry out of the air to try and sell the fight at all. Haye and Harrison have been friends for years and were still friends during the build up to that fight. Everything about that was superficial.

At least Groves v DeGale have a competitive rivalry given they are both up and coming SMW highly regarded from the same country and both hold domestic titles. Even if DeGale are groves weren't really enemies it's still an competitive and interesting fight to determine who really is better.

dunno at least degale comes across with a bit of passion and as though he may believe what he says, witter was always so feeble and uninspiring

youd think after all this time watching boxing you people would understand that degales just doing his job , promote the fight if he gets under groves skin in the process so be it , more fool groves for letting it happen

    spot on, same for me.

i think its an act for degale. the breath thing was clearly planned in advance - the delivery of the line wasn't natural at all.
