Video-Degale vs Groves Head to Head Presser

Yea true though while Eubank, Hopkins and maybe less so Mayweather its pre-meditated thats the personna they gave themselves to get more exposure/money but mainly with Floyd and definately Degale its actually their personality. Thats why I love this scrap because like with Eubank-Benn there is genuine dislike between the 2. Add in the amateur fight history and contrasting styles it makes a terrific fight.

Groves won the staredown on points, Degale looked petulent rather than funny or intimidating Groves was good to hold the stare but still had a little go back which wasnt needed.

You here fighters all the time say they won the fight at the press conference/weigh in etc I wonder if this could have a factor in this fight. If Groves shows Degales chat isnt effecting him and has a great camp he's got a real shot. On the flipside if George starts to exchange in the verbals cracks might be showing and Degales confidence will grow. Great fight cant wait

DeGale should leave the trash talking to Groves because he's better at it. The 'Ugly kid' jibes are awkward to watch in a David Brent kind of way. Anyway, Chunky is a class act in the ring and he'll need to be against Groves.

 

I disagree well not with the Mayweather part but with Degale everybodt that has ever met him will testify that he is a nice bloke who has got time for everyone and there are quite a few posters on here he has sat down and had a pleasant chat with including myself.

Dont be fooled that the image he portrays in interviews or at press conferences is the actual Degale its all an act. you can tell it is because in some ways it is a bit cringeworthy and strained at times somebody who is genuinely arrogant and egotistical says it with more conviction. Its just a role that degale is warming up to.

 

You dont know that ive not met Degale!! Actually i have and he is pleasant and always spends ages talking to fans and taking photos im not saying hes a ***** but theres a streak of arrogance in his nature. And dont exagerate 'everybody whi that has ever met him' dont think George Groves speaks that highly of him man and not 100% of people like him so calm down.

I like Degale but lets me honest he's not the sharpest knife in the draw and it takes a level of intelligence to orchestrate a genuine dislke figure. And remember how the boos early in his career and how he responded? They got to him, not the response of a man who had it planned out.

If its all thought up good luck to him hes brighter than I give him credit for but the immature **** in that presser kinda backs my point up. Like I say I like him hes entertaining, a great talent and hes fan freindly but dont YOU get fooled to thinking hes thought it all up
