I enjoy watching DeGale but he's making it very hard to be a fan. Every time he's near a microphone or camera he acts like an absolute twat.

Sort of hoping Groves batters him now.

Fair enough i see your point i dont think degale is some mastermind and wouldnt say Eubank was all that clever either but i would put him a level above Degale in terms of forthought into image.

I think Degale does somewhat buy into the Mayweather mystique and it shows because he doesnt pull it off in quite the same way but i still think he can warm to the role as it were. He needs to know what to say when to say it he obviously toned it down a fair bit for Smith.

Its seems obvious to me he isnt a natural trash talker like Naz so he probably does need to be more measured and rehearsed in what he says to pull it off. Regardless im not going to immediatly root for "the other guy" just because of these antics.

Its how you percieve it, wasnt knocking your view on it I just see it differently mate :good He has the confidence in and out of the ring to be a real character whether thats the pantomime villain or Gold winning hero; he certainly isnt boring. Be interesting to see how people respond to both fighters in the build up starting tonight coz Groves can be a cocky fella too!!

As i said bud I like Degale, his antics whilst childish does spark talking points and he does have the talent to back it up

To be fair, there were thousands emailing Haye to fight Harrison every week.
