    Comparing Chirssy to Bowe. LOL.

Larry was clearly off his rocker there. His hand had the shakes something fierce.

If Arreola really tests Wilder then Wilder is even worse than most of us think.

Wow bold prediction. I thought Arreola from Vitali fight would be close to 50/50 with Wilder but he looked really, really bad to me in his last 3 fights. I even thought he should hang 'em after his fight with Kaufmann.

Nevertheless, I'd love to be proven wrong and see him give Wilder the fits. :good

Good afternoon to you too Rummy

Damn! That's one wild prediction there, shouldn't get any wilder as that! :p
Don't think current Arreola has much of a chance here. He basically should have been on a 4 fight losing streak if judges were on the level, and 5 losses in his last 6.
"Prime" Arreola would have had a very good chance to beat Wilder, but not the current version.
    That said... WARREOLA! :ibutt

I can't see Arreola winning this. He's too far gone I'm afraid

I agree with Rummy - IF and its a big IF but if the nipple man can go six rounds without taking a few Wilder bombs and can be something like his old form (he's gotta to be highly motivated for this undeserved shot) then he might just pull it out the bag. Odds are against him but I got a gut feeling Wilders careful cherry picking is gonna be one such cherry pick that backfires and he takes a nap and then wakes up wondinering why some fat guy is wearing his belt. And remember Wilder doesn't do great against fat guys!

Prime Arreola mops the floor with Wilder in 2 or less. But, I just got around to watching Arreola's last few fights, and, man has he gotten worse. He has never been in great shape, but his conditioning over the last several years has been dreadful. His timing, punching power, and especially punch resistance have fallen off of a cliff. There is no way this version of Arreola would last two minutes against prime Arreola. And, I am not sure he will do much better against the limited Wilder. (Who, will at least come in shape and throwing punches)

When you've been wrong as often as me, there are no bold predictions.

Could be. I'm interested in finding out, Robney. At the very least I think Chris will find the mark early and give us something interesting to watch. But perhaps I have smoked a joint too many in recent weeks.

I hadn't thought of the fact Wilder has had some problems with fat guys in the past.

I honestly think it's going to be difficult for Arreola to avoid Wilder's incoming fire for much longer than a few rounds. I think the key for Arreola will be finding a way to deliver his power before he receives any of Wilder's. And I think he can do that, at least hypothetically. Arreola does usually find a way to get to guys and land shots early. As you say there are a lot of big if's, but I have never been totally sold on Wilder and I still maintain that Chris has the right "style" even if he no longer has much left in the tank.
