Chambers is a great guy and I wish him all the best. He is a good example of what Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA is all about. Props to him, he did what he could and handled the loss as well as could be expected.

    Stay strong, Eddie!

    Yeah, really!

Eddie is an excellent boxer who just doesn't have the size or punching power to match up with legitimate (that is, not Dmitrienko-level) super-heavyweights like Vitali and Wlad.

But that's hard to knock, considering how everyone else has faced against those two since like 2004.

Eddie did what he could, and got caught at the end of the fight. No shame there. He still has an excellent future.

I said it takes a humble person to say "he was the better man". I never said Chambers said that. The implied thing I wanted y'all to get out of it is that I'm actually calling Chambers humble.

    Cheers!:hi:

I agree that he didn't deserve the decision and the result should've been switched anyways because of EPO but the guy beat DLH the first fight no question and doesn't mind blood testing for the May fight. He IS a class act.:deal

He didn't have much of a choice after a performance like that.

True:good. Nothing that he could really do to win so I can't blame him. I'll see the fight this upcoming week.

Yeah, you're right. Lying to a world audience and taking performance enhancers to help him beat the pulp out of another man and then become his business partner before revealing all this is defintely my definition of a classy man. :good

    Whatever.

Class post-fight interview from Chambers there. No excuses, just honesty. :thumbsup

I believe he could come up with some great results if he went down to CW and gave it his best effort.

He put up a better fight than anyone except Brock and maybe Thompson, IMO. Chagaev might be in that conversation if he'd gone out on his shield.

Chambers is a class act, and a great heavyweight who has no business being one. He really should be a great cruiserweight.

He shouldnt be so hard on himself (although its refreshing to see someone taking the loss that bad, and not just shrugging it off), the guy was completely, completely outsized and as chris byrd showed, you can be as good a boxer as you want to be but if you dont have some size, strength, aggresiveness and power, your not going to beat Wlad. Im sorry its just reality... nobody is going to be outboxing wlad from the outside.

Chambers can still have a good legacy as theres plenty of other fights out there for him that are much more winnable.... Ill be rooting for him in the future.
