HBO didn't pick this fight up. Steward obviously wants Wlad to be more exciting fighters and not a safety first so he can get more money. Simple as that.

It looks like he saw Manny's face in Eddie, poor Eddie.

Steward was giving Wlad **** from around the 7-8th round, telling him to throw punches and that Chambers was done etc

Wlad just wasnt listening, even in the 12th he didnt open up as much as he is capable but got the KO so fair enough.

On another note, is it just me or has Steward aged really bad over last cpl of years?

The fight had a gate of 51,000, and was broadcast in just about every country except the US. I don't know a lot about the financial side of boxing, but I doubt that the fight being shown in the US would have made a significant difference to the overall bottom line, or Stewards cut.

Manny has always said he loves the big k.o. over the decisions.

It's not just you. I was a bit shocked, thought it was an year or so when I saw him like 14 years younger... But maybe it wasn't just one year...

**** yea. It didn't occur to me at the time, but in the build up to Wlad-Haye when WK was talking about taking Haye 12 rounds and Manny said he wants to get Haye out of there asap- it could have happened again

I think WK was throwing a lot more then people are giving him credit for. This was nowhere near the Ibragimov fight. He could easily have pushed for the KO earlier, but Chambers took (and blocked) a lot of hard shots throughout that fight. I think if punch stats were shown it would have confirmed that

Manny knows that with a dodgy chin, there is always the chance of getting sparked against a big puncher no matter how far ahead you are on the cards.

The Lewis one was funny as ****, shouting top of his voice "Get that Motha****a out of there" and us listening to ****wit Ian darke apologising for the language, Its a fight you knobend, not bloody snooker, its ****ing 5am you twat, not exactly kiddies about. Hate that tit!!!
