" Bull **** Decision " to many is the wrong guy winning -- robbery. Wladimir has never received one of those.
Wlad is irritated at Manny in that instance, it is the first time I see him talk back to him in the corner.
This is wonderful. Stewart just giving Wlad the goods and unlike most boxers, Wlad actually absorbring all the words and reflecting with his own input, which in this case was a bit frustration. After butting a few sentences with Many, Wlad doesn't want the mini clash to escalate and walks away, prematuraly before the bell sounds. You can hear Vitali say "spokojne " to his bro, which is Ukranian for take it easy or relax.
You guys act like this is shocking news or something. Steward does this all the time when he works the corner... for all of his fighters. Did none of you watch Lewis vs Tyson? Hell, Steward was MUCH more animated in that one.
Don't think for a second that Stewart's frustration had nothing to do with HBO snobbing Wlad's fight.
But those fighters knew how to get their opponents out of there when the time came. With Wlad, its a little different because he playes it very safe, so Stewart's remark of "we don't need another bull**** decision", rings more true. I wonder if the ko would have happened if this exchange didnt occur.
So... then why did Manny do it all of the time? Either way, it means nothing. That is what a trainer is supposed to do. Also, explain to me why Wlad had a better knockout percentage than Lewis then? A MUCH better knockout percentage, with more fights too. It's funny that you guys keep saying this nonsense without actually facing the reality that Wlad has a higher KO percentage than Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, Evander Holyfield, Michael Moorer, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, ect... get the point yet? He even has a higher KO percentage than guys known simply for their knockout power like Tua, Peter, Briggs, ect... So... explain to me again how Wlad has this problem getting his opponents out of there.... and how these other guys did it so much better. This **** is just amazing.
Most of the fighters that you mention had much stiffer competition to contend with. Trust me, Manny's remark was Klitschko specific in light of his failure to capitalize sometimes and HBO's snub. Find me another instance where Stewart says "we don't need another bull**** decision" to his fighter. And of course this had nothing to do with Klitchsko friendly German judges so dont even try that interpretation.
Steward used to yell at Lewis all the time! Vlad won the gold medal in the 1996 Olympics SUPERHEAVYWEIGHT division! Vitali and Vlad are the very best period. Sour grapes always from bigots!
Why should I need to find you another instance of this? Manny said what he felt that he needed to say. He obviously felt that Wlad should knock Chambers out.... and he did. Unless you have been living under a rock you realize that Wlad has only had 3 fights go the distance in over a decade, so obviously it isn't like he has a habitual problem with letting his opponents finish fights with him either. Steward simply wanted to whip him up into finishing Chambers off, and he did. Like I said, it isn't anything knew for Steward to get animated in the corner... Steward thinks the KO made a lot of difference to Wlad's popularity in the US. We will see if Steward was right.... if he was, then Wlad should thank him, but for now that remains to be seen.
Wlad looks like he doesn't want to listen to him and turns his head away and answers back. This isn't good.
