If you can't distinguish the difference you are biased to the point of hallucination.

 

The belt line covered his navel. The navel = mid section. Shots on the belt line = shots on the mid section.

Understand the anatomy of the body. Gonads - scrotal area. . Navel - stomach area. The gonads are located nowhere near the stomach / navel area.

Your claim of ridiculously high trunks holds no water to visual evidence.

I never agreed with you on one low blow. I believe there were several punches that could be argued low, I believe Weeks did a poor job from the start at establishing a legal line and enforcing it like Kovalev's claim, and I believe the punch before last was likely very low though there isn't sufficient video evidence to prove it is without a doubt like the last punch.

 

Maybe it's better for boxers to leave their navels visible or else to mark the spot on the trunks where their navels are located in order to make low blows more detectable? On the other hand if a ref wants to be biased that won't prevent it. It would make it harder to justify though.

It also might be that certain refs have a psychological need for attention and the only way to get it from commentators and the press is to be unfair.
