If Pacquiao is being advanced the money, then I don't see the problem. If Manny is due say $10M on the back end, and Arum is advancing him $3M, then he should be then still owed $7M on the back end. That's all perfectly fine. However, if Manny thinks the $3M is a loan, and not an advance, then that is a problem. I have a hard time believing Arum would be that blatant.

 

Bob's looking for a reason to sue Mayweather again. Deflamation of business. Bob's feelings are hurt.

That entire "interview" sounded like drunken nonsense to me. Don't take me wrong. I won't deny a man his right to have a good time, but I do not think we should any of that seriously.

 

The question is does Manny make more money in this fight that he could with a few winnable ones?

 

Mayweather was drucker than cooter brown and everybody knows, loose lips sink ships. While he may not of had all the details in it, there was some truth in what he was saying. I wonder if the guys who were doing the recording let him see it while he was sober and then asked if they could release it.Its a cold world but I remember a while back Mayweather tried to up Pac on Bob A and the games he play.

 

No from what Im hearing he's speculating that Pac is being irresponsible with his cash.

He says that Pac gets an advance on his earnings before he actually earns them, and when he finally fights, he doesn't get much money after because he already advanced a large chunk of it beforehand.

It's because Pac's under the spell that Top Rank pays HIM, rather than the other way around, and he asks for checks without full knowledge of where the money is coming from.

 

Oh I see. This makes more sense. I couldn't deduce that from the vid because of everyone shouting.

 

Sadly Pac (and a lot of fighters for that matter) need to be more financially aware. They need to look at the statements and iron everything out BEFORE they get to the "where's my money" point.

Saying this however doesn't mean I don't believe Arum and Kuntz are secretly gipping Pac with the numbers secretly hidden somewhere.

 

Mayweather always like that. if he was drunk he wouldn't be talking in a way that protects him -- he wouldve said he on PED's etc.

 

Mayweather has called him out here which is cool, but at the same time he's said this **** before, "Manny Pacquiao - You are next!!" ....... then soon after .. "I didn't say that!?"

The guy is a natural-born bullshitter!

I hope Manny responds to this, gets 50-50 and knocks him the **** out, would be funny IMO.

Nice to see ESBers running with it like it's truth. We know Floyd Mayweather never lies or embellishes anything to make himself look good/Pac look bad

 

Buboy just needs to show this vid to Pac, specially with that last bit of PBF calling out Pac, I'm sure Pac will take the challenge. Hes a proud guy and PBF called him out clear.
