joe looks sharp, this has got me well excited for the fight. very impresed with roy too, he looks in terrific shape.

 

I have maintained that Joe's superior footwork will be the difference in this fight. It is evident in these videos.

Calzaghe looks faster, more dynamic and more fit but coach Merk looks quite good too, the way he's tapping Jones' gloves with the pads.

 

Looks like Joe really IS sitting down on his punches more.

Yh they both look good. Calzaghe is sitting down a bit more and Roy looks sharp also.

At the start Roy is warming up but turns it on around the 5min mark.
Right uppercut & 5 hooks at 6.20 min i think- good stuff!

But at the end of the day, its mitt work. Lets see what they can both transfer to the fight.

Thats not Coach Merk on the mitts numbnut, its Alfie Smith and the other guy in the ring is probably Roy's Keon Bussy who's shadowing him.

 

Wow...I saw the exact opposite...Jones footwork to me appears to have more half steps and more nuance which typically yields better positioning. I guess superior footwork lies in the eye of the beholder...:good

I think the speed edge and footwork belongs to Jones where as workrate and stamina clearly goes to Joe...

them punches look as if they hurt from JC i have not seen him hit like that for a long time

from watching 24/7 i really felt that enzo is tapping joes gloves and joe isnt really sitting on his punches that much and even when the fight comes he wont go for the KO so it dont matter

 

Him sitting down on his punches will be his downfall..

why switch up what you have been doing for 45 fights?
