Did you see Froch interviewed after his win on Saturday? He's speaking very highly and respectfully of Joe now whereas before he was shooting his mouth off trying to get the fight which he knows now is unlikely. Barry McGuigan reckons Froch is the best super middleweight in the world (excluding Calzaghe). I think that Froch still has a bit to prove before being ranked above Bute or Kessler. Hell, not even sure that Froch would cope with guys like Bika and Andrade - what do you reckon?
Its hard to gauge where Froch is, he made the same mistake as Fraudley Harrison and decided to take a low key promotional route, hes 30 + already and yet to face a credible opponent. He has to take the balme for his slow progress. I rate Kessler, Miranda, Bute ahead of him because they deserve to be not because they are better
He's better than Fraudley Froch has genuine KO power (hardest puncher in the super middleweight division IMHO), a concrete chin and he's apparently super fit. But he needs to step up the level of opposition - agreed.
Yeah I was suprised at how friendly Calzaghe and Froch were, I would have loved to have heard the whole converstaion though I thought Calzaghe was on holiday - I would've been well narked off if I had to take a call from someone like Froch as i'm topping up my tan in Barbados!!! Especially after all the bad mouthing he's done.
Librado Andrade would be able to beat him. Froch's defense isnt that good and after he punched himself out on Andrade's ungodly chin he would get gassed and taken. Andrade will never win against a Kessler or Calzaghe because they will always outbox him.
