The corruption wasn't proven. That's fine. We still know it was there. Just like every A-side treatment (unless you're a Japanese fighter in Japan, then you just might get hosed over).

 

All it's showing is the disbelief from GGG's side at the result. That they clearly thought they had won the fight hands down and that they felt robbed.

 

To be fair I remember Pride (MMA) fights in Japan where they would give the Japanese fighter every possible break to come back into the fight. Although this wasn't imo fair to the fighters. The Japanese in Pride were incredibly brave and really would fight to the death ... some of them copped brutal beatings because of these combined attitudes.

 

This part of your post is spot on. The fact is plenty of Golovkin fans are trying to act like this proves corruption, which hurts their own credibility.

The rest of your statement ("we still know [the corruption] was there") must be some attempt to placate the Golovkin fans by reassuring them that this doesn't mean their wasn't corruption. It doesn't mean there wasn't corruption, but it doesn't mean there was either. We don't know that corruption was there. Not even with the Byrd card, you can believe it was there, but we don't know it was there.

I don't know why the commissioner gave Kessler **** for this but with Ward being the home town fighter that could be corruption or a rule specific to California.

 

These guys act like his timing with the jab was superb and he was landing cleanly. He was fighting just to look busier in the fight. He was not fighting to be effective.

Even GGG himself thinks there’s a conspiracy about highlights shown in the fight because he thinks all the networks are only showing Canelo’s. The fact is there’s not enough good material to show on G’s behalf. He’s the Steve Kim interview where he mentions this.
