You don't consider steroid blood testing "special testing"? Name one other pro boxer (other than Floyd and Manny) that was required to do more than the Nevada State standard urine testing?
If there is a better way to do something why not do it that way? Combining urine and blood testing is more througho. Random testing keeps potitional gulity parties from cycleing anything out. Most importantly both boxers will be subjected to the same testing. Pacquiao is not being singled out.
I agree that there needs to be stricter doping standards. Let's just see if Schaefer pushes the blood testing on Shane Mosley, a GBP boxer/investor and KNOWN STEROID USER, and Andre Berto for their upcoming fight on Jan 30. We'll then see if Manny Pacquiao, a boxer with no history of steroid use and has passed all 10 official doping tests given, is really being singled out or not. WE'LL JUST SEE!
