    Good promotional effort for Rigondeaux to be under Pacquiao undercard. He'll get a lot of publicity if he sells himself good.

    I don't know what ppl expects from Rigo, but the guy is sick, he has a Maywether kind of defense, he is fast with both hands and feet and he can bang with the best of them, and only 6 prof. fights, the guy that he fought went d distance with the current WBC Champ Vazquez JR. and out 38 wins he has 28 kos.But some ppl will always put down d Cubans fighters (for now) it has been 50 + years without this kind of fighters from Cuba, beside the new generation never saw Luis M. Rodriguez ( Ali learned alot from him), Napoles, Ultiminio Ramos, Jose Legra, Kid Gavilan, Tunero, Valdes, Paret, Kid chocolate etc..

    Sahib Usarov (15-0) - Super Bantamweight
    Viorel Simion (12-0) Featherweight
    Ayup Arsaev (10-0) Featherweight

    These fighters will give Rigondeaux good test.

    You see, the problem with Rigondeaux is its hard for me to tell when a fighter is playing around..or if he is demonstrating irresponsible defense. I need to see Rigondeaux tested against a fighter who has skills and ability.

    So a 60+ fights veteran that has fought for d WBC belt going d distance with d Champion, having 28 ko's out his 38 wins is not a test for a 5 fights boxer? Just because he made him look silly it doesn't meant the guy doesn't know how to fight.

    I really enjoy watching this guy's pure boxing skills. I have to say, his left hand to the body is one of my favorite punches around.

    im willing to believe there's a great chance you havent even watched these guys fight, you look up eastern europeans with padded undefeated records and assume they're unbeatable. i gotta say though, you bring trolling to an entirely different level. you can completely disrupt a topic without even being offensive or vulgar enough to get you banned. pretty impressive

    Usarov = 69W-131L (this is d combined record of Usarov opponents)
    Simion = 139W-93L (" " " Simion " )
    Arsaev = 54W-56L ( " " " Arsaev " )
    And of course none of Those opponents r know to the boxing fans.

    Your quote: Don't see how that is going to help him and he does not have any real power. :scaredas:

    How in the world can you say Rigo does'nt have power? He has KO'ed 3 of his 6 opponents with just " 1 shot body shot ", if that's not power then nothing is...:bart

    I pretty much agree with everything you said. His defense is incredible and his talent is really on par with some of the stars of boxing. I like gamboa more, but i must admit Rigo is so talented and so good at what he does it makes me want t watch him. However I also do agree he needs to punch more. Not even necessarily intiate (although I would like to see that jab more) but when hes countering, counter and turn those into comboinations. He definitely has the skill for it. I also agree Gamboa would be one of his toughest test, although Gamboas style make seem to feed into Rigo's style, Gamboas speed (power because of speed) would really give Rigo some problems including his combinations.

    Rigo is the type of fighter Sweet pea was, with more power of course, he is a counter puncher and will go all out if pressed, and he doesn't care when you r quitting or ko, he will do what he always does, beat you until you cry.

    I am saying keeping his right hand by his ankles is not gonna help him.
    The first two fights he had he won by TKO. One guy had 4 wins in 9 fights
    and lost 4 of 5 since and knocked out twice. His second opponent lost 5 fights was knocked out before they fought. When he steps up his KO percentage will go way down. Hey I am rooting for him.

    Ok, lets braek this down
    first fight Juan Noriega 3W-2L
    second fight Robert Guillen 4W-2L 3D
    third fight Giovanni Andrade 60W-11L
    fourth fight Lanty Ary 8W-4L-1D
    fifth fight Adolfo Landeros 20W-12L-1D
    last fight Jose Berranza 33W-18L-2D and 26 Ko's out of 33 wins.
    They r not household names but I think is a pretty stiff competition for a 6 fights boxer, counting that he spent so much time in d amateurs and was out of d sport for a couple of years.
